The Burmese name "Naing Naing" is easy to pronounce : just like [9,9] in English.

With 5 years in the making, Naing Naing next album is still in the works, but close to te end. Now the whole thing exceeds 100 minutes. So it will be released as a double CD. This one will work as a kaleidoscopic array of pop concrete styles (concrete hardcore and punk, concrete gamelan, concrete blues, concrete gregorian... Enough, you got the picture).

In addition a Naing Naing live CD (50 minutes) will be released soon by Chicago-based Sleepy Mammal Sounds Records. It was recorded in Nantes, France in a cool venue called Lieu Unique which used to be a LU biscuit factory.

Apart from that Naing Naing either wrote or conceptualized a certain amount of albums and thematic EPs, but as you may expect this will take time... And if you think everything has been done in music, no, no, no, you're wrong !

Last thing the remix of LISTEN WITH SARAH "Animal Hop" by Naing Naing will be release some day on a LWS remixes sampler on Womb Records (UK). This CD will also feature remixes by Ergo Phizmiz, Codex Machine, Dishpig, Pappy and more (All remixes feature animal sounds).
Naing Naing "Organic Orgasm Remix" is entirely made of animal sounds such as funky chickens, pig bass drum, singing ducks abetted by sheeps, etc. and even a horse orgasm. You can hear it on now on Naing Naing myspace.

Last news - Automn 2006

After staying 6 - 7 years in Myanmar (Burma), Naing Naing came back earlier this year to his native town Paris.
(Thus his access to the internet became easier (/normal) and so Naing Naing can be now listen to on on last.fm & myspace).

Live performance of Naing Naing's concrète pop. started in November.

Live versions are different from recorded ones: a guitar equipped with MIDI captors is used to launch samples,
but there are also a few songs performed "behind the laptop". The show also features Miss Maya singing on a couple songs.
